Enjoy a round at one of Fort Worth's premier private golf clubs. Ridglea Country Club is a storied west Fort Worth institution offering 36 holes of immaculately maintained Bermuda-grass golf across two distinct championship layouts. The historic North Course - originally laid out in 1928 by acclaimed Texas course designer John Bredemus, refined by Ralph Plummer in 1954, and redesigned by Jay Morrish in 1987 - is a traditional parkland test of narrow fairways and small, well-defended greens, where shot-making and short-game touch are paramount. The longer, brawnier South Course (Championship) was designed by Ralph Plummer in 1967 and renovated by Jay Morrish in 1988; it stretches over 7,100 yards through tall rough and demanding doglegs, with the Trinity River and Mary's Creek defending some of the most memorable holes in the metroplex. Both courses have hosted U.S. Open and U.S. Amateur qualifiers, the Texas State Open qualifier, and National Big I tournaments - making this a rare opportunity to experience one of the DFW area's most established private clubs.
Designer: John Bredemus (North, 1928) / Ralph Plummer (renovations 1954 & 1967 South) / Jay Morrish (1987 North redesign & 1988 South renovation)
