Lydia's House works in faith to end domestic violence by being a place of healing and a voice of hope for abused women and their children. Lydia's House is the largest Transitional Housing program in the Saint Louis region.
Lydia's House provides a place of healing and a voice of hope for women and children who are victims of domestic violence. Our transitional housing program is offered for up to two years, and serves as a critical link between emergency shelters and safe, independent living. During this period of healing, residents at Lydia's House are provided advocacy and resources they need to build a life of hope and self-independence.
We are committed to breaking the cycle of abuse. Confidential, safe and pet-friendly housing helps victims of domestic violence transition from crisis to safe and stable living. Lydia's House is the only standalone transitional housing in eastern Missouri and one of the largest in the country. Our work is inspired by the belief that everyone deserves a safe place to call home.
