How does a tax credit differ from a charitable deduction?
A tax credit is a deduction directly off what you owe in taxes to the State of Missouri during a taxable year. You may still take a regular charitable deduction in calculating federal income taxes. Even if you are not able to itemize deductions on your Federal Income Tax return, you are still eligible for the Tax Credit
