Title: Pistachio

Artist: Amanda Babcock

Medium: Acrylic

Dimensions: 15.75"x12.75"

Animal depicted is Pistachio.

A Good Samaritan was walking in Calvary Cemetery when he saw a dog who was in desperate need of help. He was skinny and cold, and holding his rear leg up. The resourceful man actually found a large bin on the side of the road, and because he didn't have a leash, he put the bin over him to keep him from running off! We named this adorable boy Pistachio and he went straight into our trauma center. He was scared and on guard, but as soon as he received medical attention to his leg, he became the big, silly boy we all absolutely adored!
