Meet wish kid Zack
Zack is a teenager from Sheboygan who loves spending time with his family and following sports, especially soccer. Zack was diagnosed with a neuromuscular disorder
and his life has been consumed with therapy sessions, treatments & more. Despite all he goes though, he lives each day to the fullest, impacting all those around him, especially through his love for soccer.
When Zack learned he qualified for a wish, he instantly knew his greatest wish was to meet famous soccer player & "greatest player of all time" as Zack says, Lionel Messi. Zack and his family were able to travel to Miami for a week of learning more
about professional soccer, getting one-on-one time with Lionel Messi, touring the city & more!
"His passion for soccer has helped him overcome his physical hurdles. He just loves the game, he loves to watch the game, he's completely immersed in it. He has drawn much of his inspiration from his idol, Lionel Messi. He's sported jerseys, had posters on his walls and has always dreamed of meeting him. We never dreamed it would actually happen! It was amazing to see and meet his favorite player. The entire experience leaves a lasting reminder to never give up and to continue to find a way to do the things you love for as long as you can!" - Zack's family
