In Celebration of Right Whale Day
The Right Whale Conservation Artwork Auction showcases original, marine-life-inspired works created by talented Massachusetts artists. Each piece reflects the beauty of our oceans, the urgency of conservation, and the hope that collective action can create lasting change.
Presented by the Massachusetts Environmental Trust in celebration of Right Whale Day-observed annually on April 24th-this special auction brings together art and environmental stewardship in support of one of the world's most endangered marine mammals: the North Atlantic right whale. Proceeds from the auction help advance ocean conservation efforts while supporting the artists whose creativity helps inspire awareness and action.
This year arrives at a pivotal moment for right whale conservation. A recent "baby boom" has offered renewed optimism for the species, yet only about 384 North Atlantic right whales remain. Every voice, every bid, and every act of support contributes to the growing movement to protect these remarkable animals and the waters they call home.
Due to continued community interest, the auction has been extended to provide additional opportunities for participation and bidding.
Bid generously. Celebrate creativity. Support conservation. Help ensure a future for the North Atlantic right whale.
