This inspiring event will feature special guest, Laurel Braitman, a NYT best-selling author, Stanford professor, and founder of 'Writing Medicine' which focuses on reflective writing and storytelling by healthcare professionals. Laurel's work and writing focuses on healing, grief, and emotional well being. She was featured in this Grief Out Loud podcast where she discusses her quest to connect with her grief and open up to love.

Laurel passionately encourages those who have experienced loss and other trauma to communicate bravely and vulnerably in service of their own well-being and that of their colleagues and patients. She has reached millions of people via her workshops, keynote talks, books and courses, guiding participants to write their own paths towards healing.

Laurel will be joined by Dougy Center young adult participants to share how they are finding hope, healing, and support. There is no cost to join this inspiring event. Lunch will be served.
