For over 50 years, BNWSC has carried out our mission to promote the emotional, social and physical well-being of older adults in Ballard, Queen Anne, Magnolia, and throughout Northwest Seattle.

Last year, over 1,300 seniors participated in BNWSC programming. That's nearly 28% more than in 2022!

Our programming includes:

• Nutritious meals served at the Center or delivered to those who are isolated at home.

• Health and fitness classes, educational activities, and arts and crafts.

• On-site vaccination clinics and free tax assistance provided by our community partners.

• Connections to vital services such as housing and transportation.

Most importantly, we offer opportunities for seniors to connect with each other and create community. Social connection keeps seniors active and healthy, physically, mentally and emotionally. Our services help seniors in our community to thrive as they age.

BNWSC could not carry out this work without the generous support of our donors. City and County funding provides only 35% of the revenue we need to operate each year. We count on the community for the rest. Your financial support makes our work possible. Be sure to look through Silent and Live Auction items on the website to start strategizing.

Your Evening Schedule

Doors open at 5pm. You'll enjoy appetizers, wine, beer, Prosecco and Martinis while you peruse through and keep tabs on your favorite Silent Auction Items. Aim for your preferred wine in Wine Ring Toss, purchase some keys for the Treasure Chest, hedge your bets with the most beads for Heads and Tails and enjoy conversations and laughter with new friends.

Dinner will be family style followed by our Live Auction.

The live auction will include unique experiences and items, vacations, games and Raise the Paddle.
