2022 Spottswoode Sauvignon Blanc: Spottswoode's exceptional, classically styled Sauvignon Blanc has been produced since 1984. Highly acclaimed, it is considered one of the "Super Sauvignons," a term coined by wine writer Karen MacNeil to describe a rare class of wines considered to be among the world's utmost expressions of this noble grape.

Winemaker Notes: Pretty and pure with aromas of citrus, white peach, and juicy pear, this beautiful Sauvignon Blanc is layered and complex. Apple clafoutis and floral aromatics invite you in. Rich and textural, this wine perfectly balances viscosity and acidity. Sea spray and salted lemon with some grapefruit pith carries through its long finish. Delicious and refreshing!

2020 Spottswoode Estate Cabernet Sauvignon: Situated on the western edge of St. Helena in Napa Valley, the Spottswoode Estate terroir is ideal for winegrowing. The alluvial clay loam from the Sulphur Creek fan provides superb drainage while cool maritime breezes passing between Spring Mountain and the Mayacamas range allow the fruit to ripen evenly.

Winemaker Notes: Our longstanding practice of picking our estate fruit when perfectly ripe meant that, serendipitously, our fruit was harvested by September 26. While our yields were down due to drought conditions, the quality and concentration of the fruit at harvest was excellent. Young and present, this is an energetic and bold expression of violets, lavender, and cassis mixed with dark chocolate, cherry, plum, and graphite. A wine happy to be tucked away in the cellar, and it's also expressing itself beautifully now.

Collection of California Sales Tax: Unless a valid resale permit is presented to seller prior to the sale, purchaser will be required to pay all state and local retail sales taxes applicable on the date of sale - amounting to 8.25%. Resale permits will be accepted only for businesses that are reasonably expected to buy and sell alcohol. Sales tax will be collected on the purchase price of each tangible item included in an auction lot.

Shipping or Pick-up of package: Shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the winner.
