The Westport Police Athletic League (PAL) is a prominent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to serving the Westport community since 1948. Over 2,500 boys and girls participate in Westport PAL youth athletic programs each year. Our mission is to help children establish strong foundations through athletics. PAL activities promote healthy lifestyles as well as build sound character, leadership skills, and camaraderie. We are excited to announce that our second annual gala will be held on Thursday, November 2nd at the Inn at Longshore from 6 to 10 pm.
This year's objective is to raise funds to rebuild the PAL clubhouse at PJ Romano Field, which is an essential meeting space for players, coaches, program directors, and parents involved in all PAL programs. The current Clubhouse is in disrepair and no longer adequate to meet the demands of the Westport PAL now, or in the future.
We are delighted to announce this year's honoree, the Romano Family. Their dedication and commitment to PAL for decades has not gone unnoticed and we could not be happier to celebrate them.

The PJ Romano Clubhouse is a true testament to the intersection of creativity, functionality, and aesthetic excellence.
With a deep commitment to an innovative design, Beinfield Architecture has crafted a space that seamlessly blends form and function. The clubhouse is more than just a building; it's a place where community and architecture come together to create an environment that inspires, connects, and enriches the lives of all who will enjoy it.
Bruce Beinfield is also an esteemed alumni of WPAL, who has left a legacy with our sports program and now our clubhouse.
