Directions & Parking

The venue is on the corner of 14th Street and 5th Avenue, take the elevators to the top floor. Nearby subways include the N, Q, R, L, 4, 5, and 6 one block away. Bus service down Fifth Avenue. PATH at 6th and 14th. Plenty of taxis in the area. Imperial Parking at 14th Street and Broadway/University Place, a half block away.

Dress Code

The atmosphere will be a big fun dinner party, with most people arriving in cocktail attire. We encourage you to be comfortably festive rather than uncomfortably formal!

Menu

The evening will begin with an open-bar and passed hors d'oeuvres. The salad course will be Arugula with Shaved Fennel, Mushrooms, Parmesan & Citrus Vinaigrette. The main dish will consist of your choice of either Vegetable Risotto or Potato & Herb Crusted Grouper with White Wine & Caper Sauce or Chicken with Sweet Potato, Green Beans, Tomatoes, Ginger & Cider. Your dinner will come with a side of Braised Asparagus with Olive Oil Rosemary Roasted Potatoes. Followed by Chocolate Cakes with Molten Center & Fruit Sauce. Allergies and other restrictions can be accommodated.

Honoring Kathleen Chalfant

Kathleen Chalfant is a legendary actress, passionate advocate, and beloved star of three Keen Company productions (and counting). For a career on stage and screen spanning almost five decades, she has been honored with the Obie Award for Lifetime Achievement, the Obie Award for Sustained Excellence of Performance, the Drama League Distinguished Performance Award, The Kingsley Award for Excellence in Theater, a Tony Award Nomination, and much more. We are thrilled to celebrate her vast and distinguished career and salute her with the Keen Vision Award!

Keen Theater Company is a Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Off-Broadway company creating theater that connects. In intimate productions of plays and musicals, we celebrate the complexities of hope and the joys of the human condition. We are producing an incredible season this year and are very proud to be debuting a world premiere play, showcasing emerging directors, commissioning a new musical, supporting mid-career playwrights, and providing a mentorship program for students in all five boroughs of NYC.
