Help us make RockRose Ranch Accessible to All!
Recently, we were gifted an additional ranch, complete with riding trails, two barns, an arena, and a large home, which we plan to use as a community center. This space will provide our participants and their families, staff, and volunteers a place to find respite, and come together to break bread, hold events, and build community.
But, we need your help to make this possible.
Currently, the house is not accessible by wheelchair, and the restrooms in the house and barns are not ADA-accessible.
No act of generosity is too small to make a difference.
Help us break barriers by making a donation today!
Online Auction opens Sunday, September 10th at 10 AM PST.

About our Annual Dinner and Silver Buckle Award
To celebrate our progress and continued journey, our Annual Fundraiser will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023 at Rancho Nicasio Restaurant in Nicasio. Buckles & Bling offers guests an opportunity to socialize with friends, enjoy fine food and wine, and learn more about our mission and accomplishments. An online auction will be held in the weeks prior to the event, as well as two auctions at the event, one silent and one live, offering one-of-a-kind items including travel and adventure, exclusive wines, merchandise, and more. Proceeds from the event support our mission and will help us to expand our programming capacity to serve even more individuals in unique, impactful ways, through equine-assisted services in the gorgeous Nicasio countryside.
This year, we are excited to honor Larkin O'Leary with our Silver Buckle Award. Larkin co-founded the Common Ground Society™, a Sonoma County-based nonprofit organization. Larkin and her team at Common Ground Society™ not only share the stories of their lives to educate and empower the community to be more compassionate, accepting, and inclusive of people with disabilities, but they also support families who receive any life changing diagnosis for their child through meaningful connections and local support.
Join us to hear the story of the Common Ground Society™, and celebrate Larkin O'Leary for the work she's doing to help others live a life without barriers!
About Halleck Creek Ranch
For 46 years, HCR has improved the lives of people with disabilities through therapeutic horseback riding and other equine-assisted activities. Using interaction between horses and humans as a conduit for physical, emotional and mental development, our programs promote independence, self-esteem, problem solving skills, and the development of social and life skills in a supportive environment.
Located in West Marin, our program pairs gentle horses with trained staff and volunteers, and amid breathtaking landscapes we promote a "life without barriers." As a non-profit, we rely on the support of our community to enable us to offer our services to the broadest group of people possible.
