Lost Gold, the tougher of the pair at 7,351 yards from the tips, plays as a links-style desert layout with generous fairways, slightly smaller greens, and strategically placed bunkers - famously hosting the 2002 Senior Slam, where Fuzzy Zoeller edged Don Pooley for the $300,000 top prize. Prospector, opened a year earlier, offers a more inviting test with wide landing areas, wall-to-wall turf and pristine Champion Bermuda greens. Throughout both courses, the towering Superstition Mountains form an unforgettable backdrop on virtually every hole, while native Sonoran desert vegetation, stone-walled bunker faces, and saguaro-dotted vistas give the experience a quintessentially Arizona flavor.
