Cheers for Wishes

At Make-A-Wish, we know that a wish can be transformational for a child fighting a critical illness. Wishes are powerful and provide a sense of strength for the child and their family. Wishes help the child believe that the impossible is possible and create hope.

We invite you to join us in celebrating the power of a wish at Cheers for Wishes, hosted by the Young Professionals Program on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Sueno from 6:00pm-9:00pm.

During Cheers for Wishes, you will enjoy a delightful selection of appetizers and margaritas while hearing inspiring stories from local wish kids and partake in the silent auction. Throughout the evening, we invite you to connect with like-minded philanthropists and young professionals to celebrate the mission of Make-A-Wish and its impact on critically ill children.

Where does the event take place?

The event will be at Sueno, 114 S 12th St, Philadelphia, PA 19107. This is at the corner of 12th and Sansom St. When you arrive, take the stairs to the second floor where you will be greeted by Make-A-Wish staff and check-in. Once you check-in, you will go to the third floor where the program will take place.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is business casual.

Where can I park?

There are parking lots and garages available nearby.

Parkway - 12th & Walnut (1201 Walnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19107)

iParkit (107 S 10th St, Philadelphia, PA 19107)

Street parking is also an option based on availability.

I can't attend the event but can I participate in the silent auction?

Yes, once the silent auction is live anyone can bid online. If the winner of the silent auction is not in attendance of the event, we will contact the winner and arrange shipping.
