Fireside Chat on Breast Health

Dynami Foundation in partnership with BasBlue, will host a fireside chat on women's breast health on May 11th from 5:30-7:30pm at BasBlue in Detroit. The event will foster transformational dialogue to engage women from the Detroit community in networking and empowerment while learning from leading experts in breast health from Karmanos Cancer Institute and University of Michigan.

This unique event will be moderated by Dr. Jacqueline Jeruss, M.D., Ph.D., Associate Vice President for Research, Integrity and Compliance, Associate Dean for Regulatory Affairs, Director, Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship and Professor of Surgery, Pathology, and Biomedical Engineering at University of Michigan.
Featuring a multidisciplinary panel of providers in the fields of Surgery, Medical Oncology, Breast Imaging, and Gynecology, guests will have the rare opportunity to ask experts about breast and women's health, get help to decipher the myths from the truth, and learn about the latest in breast mammograms, breast density, women's gynecological health, diagnosis, and prevention.

Panelists are local leaders in Breast Cancer and Breast Health, including: 

- Hadeel Assad, M.D., Assistant Professor of Oncology and Associate Director, Fellowship Program at Karmanos Cancer Institute

- Renee Pinsky, M.D., Clinical Associate Professor of Radiology and Director, Medical Student Education

- Versha Pleasant, M.D., M.P.H., Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director, Breast Health & Cancer Genetics. 
This collection of experts is sure to provide an informative and inspiring dialogue about breast health, monitoring, treatment and prevention.
