2023 Gala Honorees - The Scannapieco Family
This year we are proud to celebrate our honorees the Scannapieco Family. Tom and Alycia Scannapieco have been significant contributors to the Philadelphia region and committed champions of the museum's mission, with Tom serving on the board for the past 20 years.
Tom Scannapieco is the founder and Chairman of Scannapieco Development Corporation, where his son, Michael, has taken over as President and CEO. For over three decades, Scannapieco Development Corporation has been a market leader advancing innovative real estate projects, making significant contributions to the Philadelphia region through record breaking initiatives and has been recognized with numerous awards.
Lindsey Scannapieco has further extended the family's real estate footprint as the founding partner and Managing Member of Scout, an urban design and development company responsible for the award-winning re-purposing of the Bok Vocational Tech High School in South Philadelphia. Scout has recently expanded to undertake the repurposing of an industrial complex in Providence, Rhode Island.
Innovation is undoubtably a Scannapieco family passion. Tom and Alycia's commitment to the Philadelphia community continues with the contributions being made by the next generation as their children, Lindsey and Michael are very involved in the development sector and the vitality of the arts community in the city.
