ABOUT TWIST OUT CANCER
Twist Out Cancer (TOC) is a community of support...with a twist! TOC offers the
platform, tools and community - both online and offline - for anyone touched by
cancer to create, support and inspire. What makes TOC unique is its dynamic multitiered
approach through its website, Brushes with Cancer events, Twist-Shops
(educational workshops), health and awareness events. The TOC network enables
anyone touched by cancer to get connected to a global community of support and
gain access to the tools they need to take action. Since 2011, TOC has touched over
53,000 individuals through its programs and events. TOC is entirely volunteer-led,
boasting a network of over 200 active volunteers serving as ambassadors
throughout Chicago, Detroit, Tel Aviv, Toronto, Montreal and beyond.
BRUSHES WITH CANCER Brushes with Cancer pairs artists with those touched by cancer to create unique pieces of artwork reflective of their journey. Twist Out Cancer will hold its Third Annual Brushes with Cancer Benefit on Saturday, February 21, 2015. We invite you to join the TOC community and over 500 event guests at Chez (247 E. Ontario, Chicago) for an evening of celebration, storytelling, survivorship and hope. At the event, each artists' piece will be officially revealed and auctioned and guests will be treated to an evening filled with art, entertainment, cocktails and inspiration.
