"Spread the Love"
Bill & Kim Kerlin together with Creative York and the York community are looking to spread LOVE throughout the City of York.
The Kerlins donated monies to fund the purchase of Dale Roger's "Love" sculptures. The "Love" sculptures have been placed outside City Hall on S. George St, along the rail trail by Keystone Kidspace and out front of DreamWrights Center for Community Arts.
The Kerlins are encouraging others to donate to Creative York to help further "spread the love" throughout York. We are looking for one more donation of $5,000 for our third sculpture.
Why public art? "Public art adds enormous value to the cultural, aesthetic and economic vitality of a community. Public art contributes to a community's identity, fosters community pride and a sense of belonging, and enhances the quality of life for its residents and visitors." Amherst Public Art Commission
