Our Whiskers & Paws Fundraiser is one of our signature fundraising events to save more lives by raising funds for the homeless and lost animals in our community. Our Whiskers & Paws Fundraiser supports Auburn Valley Humane Society, Northwest Spay & Neuter Center, and AVHS Animal Shelter. With your support, we can sustain our lifesaving efforts, subsidize our humane education, expand our spay and neuter programs, and expand our programs to maintain the human-pet bond. Your generous gift will support our programs and save more lives. 

We are excited to announce our in-person event on Saturday, May 20, at the Hotel Murano, Tacoma, from 5 to 9 pm. We will have two silent auctions, a live auction, a scrumptious dinner, a raise the paddle, and so much more. You will experience how Auburn Valley Humane Society has grown in the past ten years. 

Early Bird tickets are on sale until March 20th. Regular ticket prices are in effect from March 20 - May 9.  Click on the button at the top of the page to order your tickets or order a table of 8 tickets. 

The menu includes a drink coupon, mixed green salad, a variety of breads, Ancho-glazed huckleberry compote Atlantic Salmon, Grilled Ribeye with caramelized onions and NW Wine Demi, or Polenta cake with grilled portobello mushroom, roasted vegetables with rustic red sauce, seasonal vegetables, red potatoes, regular and decaffeinated coffee, and assorted teas.  Each table will submit its bid for the Dessert Dash. The table with the highest bid will have the first opportunity to dash for their dessert.  

 
We will also have a week of giving with short videos and two online auctions, with exciting experiences and opportunities for you to engage. Be sure to register as a bidder! The online Auction Kickoff is on Friday, May 12, at 6 pm. The online auctions will close on Sunday, May 21 at 7 pm.
