We are delighted to invite friends of W!se to a celebration of the tremendous impact we have in the community especially among the underserved. During the evening, Mehdi Mahmud, President and CEO of First Eagle Investments will be honored and New York Times Best Selling Author, Tiffany "The Budgetnista" Aliche will receive special recognition. 200 leaders from the finance, business, and tech sectors are expected to attend. The evening will include an exciting cocktail reception, dinner program and silent auction.

Mehdi Mahmud, President and CEO

Mehdi Mahmud is President and Chief Executive Officer of First Eagle Investments and President of First Eagle Funds. Mehdi joined First Eagle in March 2016 from Jennison Associates, where he was CEO and Chairman of the Board, and previously served in a variety of roles at J.P. Morgan Investment Management and Credit Suisse Asset Management.

Tiffany "The Budgetnista" Aliche

New York Times Best Selling Author & Financial Literacy Educator

Tiffany "The Budgetnista" Aliche is America's favorite personal financial educator and author of the New York Times Best Seller, Get Good with Money. Through her Live Richer Movement, she has helped over two million women save, manage, and pay off hundreds of millions of dollars and achieve financial freedom. A former teacher for ten years, Tiffany was instrumental in getting The Budgetnista Law (A1414) passed in January 2019, making financial education mandatory for middle school students in New Jersey.

 

Judith P. Sams

Judith Sams is the Business and Information Technology Program Specialist at the Virginia Department of Education, following a 31-year career as a secondary Business and Information Technology teacher in classrooms in Fairfax County, Buckingham County, and Fuqua School. After a mandate requiring personal finance education for high school was passed in 2011, Judith played an integral role in spearheading the development and implementation of career and vocation education across the state of Virginia.
