Join St. Vincent Hospital Foundation for the 2024 Walk For A Hug 5k Walk/Run and Community Event!

This event will include live music, food trucks, local vendors, and so much more. Come participate in the walk/run or simply enjoy the music and food while supporting a good cause. The event is free to attend, and $100 to sign up as a race participant. Sponsorships and vendor booths are also available for purchase.

ABOUT THE CSV HUGS PROGRAM

The HUGS Program (HIGH UTILIZER GROUP SERVICES) provides assertive community navigation for individuals with high utilization of emergency services with CSV hospital, EMS, and jails. These individuals often have chronic pervasive mental illness, co-occurring substance use disorders, and chronic homelessness, which limits their ability to engage and participate in outpatient services. The HUGS model utilizes a wrap-around approach to provide individualized, person-centered intensive case management to link each person to long-term supports and services, and works with patients while they are in the hospital and in the community upon discharge.
