ABOUT THE NOVANT HEALTH INNOVATION FUND
Technology and Innovation in Medical Care Fund through the Novant Health Foundation, which supports local schools with health technology advancements needed to provide better access to care. Below are a few examples of what can be purchased through this fund:
$50 can buy a pulse oximeter to ensure a patient with a chronic respiratory condition can monitor his/her oxygen levels from home
$60 can support a digital therapeutic application for a diabetic patient to self-manage his/her disease from home for a year
$100 Tyto device to enable a new family to urgently have their newborn baby evaluated from home by their doctor
$500 can support a year of drone-based deliveries of "Care At-Home" kits, which may include items such as OTC COVID-19/flu/RSV tests, pulse ox devices, thermometers, etc.
$1000 can provide an at-risk maternity patient with a remote patient monitoring device and tablet to allow monitoring of her and their baby's health outside of clinic visits
$1500 can create an experiential health tech innovation program for students at the Novant Health Innovation Lab
$5000 can operate a TytoClinic at an elementary school in need of better access to health care services for students
