Join us for our 25th Annual Cause for the Paws 5K walk/run on

Saturday, September 16, 2023!  

 

The Walk/Run will be held on the Osaugie Trail in Superior near the entrance to Barker's Island. You will continue on the Osaugie Trail to the back side of the East 2nd Street McDonald's where you turn around and come back to the starting point.  Registration begins at 8 AM, Race begins at 9 AM, a Participant Drawing will follow the race.

 

Event Fees: 

Individual (with up to 2 dogs): $40 

 

Family (parents and their minor children with dog(s)): $95 

This Package is for up to 5 participants.

ALL children must be accompanied by an adult.

 

 *Event Fees include a race t-shirt for each registrant and a bandana for each dog, as well as entry into a prize raffle following the race.

 

Race Sweatshirts are awarded to those who raise $50 or more in pledges!  You can use the "Champions" area on this page to share this fundraiser and help reach your additional goal!  All pledges must be received by the day of the event. A special award will be given to the adult and the youth who raise the most money for the animals!

 

If you plan to bring your puppy/dog/tail-wagger/pooch please indicate that on our registration form and please follow the guidelines listed below:

-Dogs must have current proof of rabies vaccination (RABIES CERTIFICATE REQUIRED) at the time of Registration the day of the event.  Digital Proof will be accepted.

-Your Dog(s) must be leashed at all times (6 ft. leash or shorter-- NO flex leads).

-Individuals may walk up to 2 Dogs.

-You are responsible for cleaning up after your Dog(s).

 

*Please remember to walk/run at a moderate pace (consider the weather and age of your dog).  Dogs may be close together at times.  Please take this into consideration when entering your four legged best friend into this race.  The event director reserves the right to refuse any dog that may be dangerous or disruptive to the event.  Your dog will also be refused if you do not have an updated rabies certificate.  All guidelines are in place to protect you, your pet(s), and all others participating or involved in this event.
