Chaired by two outdoor enthusiasts and incredible BEAR supporters - Mac DeLaup and Will Reich - and presented by our friends at Next Era Energy, 2023's event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 23rd at the Greater Houston Sports Club and will certainly be one for the ages! Read on for some general details and updates.
- Warm weather! Last year's event set a new record for low temperature, so we hope Mother Nature keeps us a little warmer this year with a May event date. As always, we ask you to watch the forecast as the date approaches.
- Dinner and drinks will be aplenty! After the shoot concludes, all participants are provided dinner and have access to a well-stocked open bar. Talk about a great way to end the workday!
- Other FUNdraising surprises! Stay tuned for more sneak peeks of what we will have in store for all participants!
Thank you for supporting our mission of providing HOPE and HELP to abused and neglected children in our community. We are unable to do what we do, without all of Y.O.U.!
FAQ's:
- Can I participate from afar? You are always welcome to make a difference from afar through a donation! For this specific event, however, only registered guests in attendance can participate in the event and other fundraising aspects held on May 23rd.
- Is there a rain plan? Rain or shine we are a GO! Should there be any inclement weather that may be of concern, however, all participants will be contacted immediately.
- Can I rent a gun to participate? All registered guests are expected to bring their own guns for this event. No guns will be available for rent at the Greater Houston Sports Club.
- Do I need to bring my own ammo? Nope! Ammo is provided for all registered guests for 12, 20, and 28 gauge shotguns.
- I donated something in-kind...how do I receive a receipt? Simply click HERE to submit your online in-kind form so your generous contribution can be recognized!
