Cheetos is a flaming hot Chesapeake/Lab mix currently searching for his fur-ever home and sponsored by the Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana. Cheetos has had some up-and-downs in life. He was bred and sold to his first owner who ultimately moved away without him. Thankfully, he ended up with the wonderful folks at the Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana but sadly he has been there waiting on his turn to be adopted for almost an entire year now. But, sweet Cheetos has not let that discourage him or get him down. Despite what he's been through, he's filled with joie de vivre and knows the world is his oyster! Cheetos is a big love bug, who enjoys a good snuggle sesh and just wants to be near you. And when we say big, we mean BIG. He's a handsome boy at a whopping 100 pounds! Cheetos loves hanging out with the other dogs at the rescue, but he never gets to play with them for long because they all get adopted. His closest friends are the Humane Society of NWLA's volunteers. It makes Cheetos so happy to see the volunteers every day! They run and play with him, and best of all- they give his fabulous coat a good brushing. Oh, how Cheetos loves to be brushed! He keeps the volunteers laughing with his antics, but also on their toes, like the time he ate a rope toy and they had to rush him to the emergency vet! Oy vey! Cheetos LOVES toys, and if you think you've found a toy that can stand the Cheetos Test, you're probably wrong! His favorite trick is to test out "indestructible" toys and report back to the company that they are in fact, NOT indestructible. As you can imagine, this has gotten Cheetos and the Humane Society of NWLA a lot of refunds and a lot of new toys to test out. When Cheetos isn't busy researching the durability of toys, he loves to play fetch and go for a swim. He may be a robust guy, but he floats well! Cheetos hopes to one day have a family of his own to share his toys, time, and snuggles with. What better place to try than the Best In Sheaux runway?!
