Mac is a playful Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix owned by The Baudoins, Kyle, Laura, Porter, and Camille, and sponsored by L.E. & Chalk. The Baudoins only ever had retrievers in their family, but when they saw photos of Mac's litter up for adoption at the Humane Society of NWLA they knew they wanted to meet him and "get a feel for him". Little did Mac's dad know; he'd end up breaking his #1 rule- do NOT fall in love and bring a dog home after just one meeting. As you've probably figured out, Mac instantly melted his new mom and dad's hearts, and the rest was history. In fact, Mac's new human siblings were so excited and surprised by his arrival that they literally cried! For a puppy, Mac is a super observant and attentive guy. He loves to lie on the landing halfway up the stairs and keep tabs on the entire family and their activities. Mac doesn't want to miss a thing and can see almost everything from his mighty perch! And while you might think Mac is pretty laid-back for a puppy, don't let him fool you- he is sly! He takes full advantage of his height and will sneak a treat right off the table when you aren't looking. Especially any leftover breakfast. He can't help it- It's his favorite meal of the day! Mac is also quick to sneak away with a toy. Most particularly ones that are off limits, like the stuffed animals on his sister's bed! But Mac is so lovable, you can't stay mad at him for long, and he knows how to make up for it. In the mornings he will bound up the stairs, straight into each of his human siblings' beds, and lick their faces until they wake up! After all that, how could you not forgive him and start your day with a smile?!
