Stumpy Joe is an assertive, self-proclaimed "Corgridor" (Corgi/Lab mix) owned by Linda and JD Crow. Following the loss of their beloved lab, Jack, Stumpy Joe's parents saw an adoption ad by the Olympic Peninsula Humane Society in Port Angeles, WA. They immediately went to see him, and it was love at first sight! It's safe to say, Stumpy Joe's overly confident greeting stole the show. Stumpy Joe is now 15, but sassier than ever. To him, age is nothing but a number! There's no doubt he's in charge, and his favorite trick is to bark at you when he wants something, especially at dinner time. Stumpy Joe may be in his senior years, but that doesn't slow him down. Turn your head for one minute and like a playful puppy, he'll steal the toilet paper, shred it, and try to eat it! When he's not busy sneaking off with a roll of TP, Stumpy Joe loves to go for a ride in the car. As the world's biggest Blue Brothers fan, (as if his snazzy hat wasn't a dead giveaway), he likes to pretend he's rolling along in the Bluesmobile "on a mission from God"! After a fun-filled day and ride in the car, Stumpy Joe like to play his favorite game "Crocodile Farm" before bed. Every night, without fail, he follows his mom around until she throws him a piece of bread. He proudly catches it and chomps down with all his might, mimicking the sound of a crocodile slamming his mouth shut! One evening, a new dog sitter called his parents to say that she knew Stumpy Joe wanted something but couldn't figure out what it was. It quickly became evident that he could not go to bed without playing his favorite game. It's Stumpy Joe's world, and we're all just living in it!
