Not Attending?
You can still participate in the auction!Thank you to everyone who attended the Auction Party on Wednesday night. It was a tremendous success:
We will be calling any successful bidders to confirm tree delivery information for Monday, December 5's delivery and to make final payment arrangements.
Remember that bidding for Wreaths and Gingerbread Houses concludes at Saturday, December 3 at 5 pm.
Successful bidders on wreaths will be able to pick them up from Liberty Hall on Sunday December 4 after 2:30 pm (or Monday morning). We will be in touch with successful bidders of the gingerbread houses to explain how pick up will work with these items.
Viewing Hours
Come on by Liberty Hall to see the amazing creations of our wonderful donors. The remaining schedule is as follows:
Saturday, December 3 - 10 am - 5 pm
Sunday, December 4 - 10 am - 2 pm
A suggested donation of $5 is requested for adult guests and children over the age of 10.
Gingerbread Houses on Parade
New this year, O'Connell Children's Shelter has taken over Big Brothers Big Sisters of Douglas County's beloved Gingerbread House Fundraiser. We will be displaying the gingerbread houses throughout the downtown in various store front windows. Remember to grab your map/scavenger hunt form at the front table so that you can ensure you see the Gingerbread Houses on Parade.
Cookies with Santa
Thank you for attending Cookies with Santa. Given the sheer number of photos taken, it will take us a bit to get them organized and uploaded. We will upload all the pictures in albums divided by day (and likely time) given the number of images involved) to our Facebook Page. Thank you for your patience.
Mitten Tree
Each year, the Festival of Trees showcases a "Mitten Tree" with the wishes of families in need in your area. If you prefer a more personalized approach, come down to Liberty Hall during viewing hours to pick out your "mitten" that will have the wishes, including ages and sizes of family members, so you may personally shop for your adopted family. Instructions, restrictions and due date will be provided so you can shop for your neighbors in need. Of if you prefer to have someone else do the shopping, you may purchase a "Mitten tree" item at the $25, $50, $100 level so we can complete the shopping for our families in need. Email Ellen at [email protected] if you have any questions.
