We are proud to support many arts related causes in the Hastings -Prescott area. Some examples include art and music Scholarships for students, Tuesday Free Coffee Concerts, Black Dirt Theatre, Sod House Theatre, Lumin Theatre Lab, Summer SPARK/RAP Program, Orange Dragon Art Gallery, Artspace, River Valley Band, Building Remembrance for Reconciliation, The Longer Table, Seussical the Musical, Third Coast Percussion Residency, Dallas Brass Band Residency, Maria Bournaki Residency, Midwest Marimba Residency, the Hmong "Seeds for Change" Art Exhibit, and Annual Local Arts Heroes recognitions.

About Us:
Hastings and Prescott have been neighbors along the river for nearly 200 years! For nearly a decade, we have gathered annually to celebrate our shared commitment to advancing the arts in our communities.
Since our beginning in 2008, the Hastings Prescott Arts Council (HPAAC) has been dedicated to providing more opportunities for the arts and humanities to thrive through three main impact areas: Funding Scholarships, Developing Local Partnerships, and Advancing Arts Programming.
It is through your support of HPAC and participation in the Friends Along the River Gala that these efforts continue. Thank you for joining us!
Auction items can be picked up beginning the following day (December 5 -7) at 121 Tyler Street, (ARTSPACE Building), Hastings, Minnesota. Pickup hours will be 10AM-2PM Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

GALA DETAILS
The 12th Annual HPAC "Friends Along the River" Gala will be held December 4th, 2022, at the Hastings Arts Center, which is located at 216 4th Street E. Hastings, MN 55033. Unfortunately, COVID is still a threat to many in the community. In order to protect the health and safety of our community, we will be having limited in-person attendance (about 100) and having a VIRTUAL online fundraising Gala program and auction open to all. The event will be FREE for all online participants this year, but you still need to register to participate. We have an amazing program planned for you the evening of December 4th.
We will be Livestreaming the live music Happy Hour program that evening at 5:30 PM, and the LIVE Virtual Gala Program from 6PM - 7PM over our HPAC YouTube channel at:

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
To attend in person, click on Purchase Ticket and register. In person tickets are $25. Also, at any time - Register for free to participate in the Online Gala - select the Register button. This will also register you for the online Silent Auction with over 90 items.
If you are having trouble registering for the Gala, you can also text HPAC2022 to 76278 and follow prompts.
Up to 14 days prior to December 4th, 2022, you can view all of our amazing auction Items! Bidding opens at 8 PM on November 20th, 2022.
EVENT PROGRAM
5:30 PM - Online Social Hour
- Gather with your viewing group and enjoy some online prerecorded entertainment from HPAC.
6 PM - HPAAC Virtual Gala Begins
- For those attending in person, we will have a light meal and refreshments.
- Online viewers can watch a special LIVE program from HPAC and our many artistic partners, streamed over YouTube to you.
- Be sure to bid on our many wonderful auction items.
- Be generous and support our Fund A Need by donating to support our many wonderful programs in the Hastings/Prescott Area
7:00 PM - In Person/Virtual LIVE Gala Ends
8:00 PM - Online Auction ends and bidding is closed.
