About the Opening Doors Benefit: A Place to Grow
For this year's Opening Doors benefit, Deborah's Place is pleased to welcome you to the Garfield Park Conservatory, the namesake of the new Conservatory Apartments which will be completed in the fall.
The last year has been one of tremendous growth for Deborah's Place, and we're proud to say that over 600 women benefitted from our services in 2022. In 2023, through our partnership with Interfaith Housing Development Corp we will provide services to an additional 34 residents of IHDC's new Conservatory Apartments.
This dinner will feature engaging speakers, an iconic and verdant setting, stories of women's lived experiences with homelessness, and multiple avenues of fundraising through silent auction, digital raffle, and a paddle raise. All of which will help to provide furniture and resources for the Conservatory Apartments and other supportive housing programs at Deborah's Place.
