We are Curative Connections

For 77 years, Curative Connections has been a valuable resource for those who need support and day-time care due to aging, dementia, brain injury, or disability. Our journey began assisting those affected by polio and other physical conditions, and we continue to evolve to meet the emerging needs of the community.

Today, we offer 13 person-centered programs, helping more than 1,600 people weekly. These programs empower members to build skills and have a better quality of life, a more independent way of living, and provides enriching opportunities to grow. Programs include:

• Early Memory Loss and Dementia: Offers a safe and comfortable environment for individuals in all stages of dementia disease progression, focusing on cognitive stimulation, physical exercise, social engagement, and creative expression.
• Cognitive Rehab and Wellness: Provides a structured environment that supports independence, cognitive skill recovery, safety, and physical and cognitive activity for individuals with various brain injuries and neurological conditions.
• Connection and Enrichment: Provides a day packed with fun and supportive person-centered activities and outings that provide purpose and promote independence.
• Specialized Transportation: Provides door-to-door transportation to individuals with disabilities and adults age 60 and older to critical doctor appointments, jobs, grocery shopping and social outings. 
• Work, Life, and Social Skills Training: Designed to help individuals with disabilities develop the skills needed for independence at home, at work, and within the community. Our training and employment programs assist members in gaining employment skills, navigating key steps in career exploration, and by providing on-the-job coaching. Members are supported at every stage of their skills development.

Whether it's a neighbor recovering from a stroke, a loved one experiencing memory changes, a spouse needing respite so they can best care for their partner, or an adult child striving for more independence, Curative Connections provides a warm, welcoming environment.
