7:15 pm - 8:00 pm Program, Paddle Raise, and Live Auction

Join us as we bring back the FUN in fundraising! A night for you to enjoy with your friends and family while raising funds for Soaring Eagle. This year we are shaking things up and bringing you a new experience. The gala will be hosted at Pinstripes, an upscale event hall with bowling and bocce for guests to enjoy after our short program. We will start off the night with a cocktail hour while you get a chance to see all the silent auction items in person and participate in some of the fun raffle games. We will then gather in the main ballroom for the program including a welcome video, our paddle raise, and the live auction. The buffet dinner will then open along with bowling and bocce games and for those that don't wish to play, there is seating around the game areas and some videos that will be shown throughout the evening for your entertainment. We encourage anyone who is interested in learning more about our school and organization to talk to the staff and families at the event. They can tell you firsthand what we do and why it is so important.

Our Mission
To provide an academic and social learning environment for students with special needs that supports their individual strengths and learning styles and integrates learning and interaction within Developmental Language Models and Developmental Individual-Difference Relationship (DIR ) based approach principles.

Our Vision
Soaring Eagle Academy is a safe and nurturing environment where each student and family, teacher and therapist, and other professionals from the community have the opportunity to work together to honor the abilities of the child. Together we respect, embrace and empower students as we guide, learn and teach. Students are cared for physically, intellectually, socially and emotionally while engaged in meaningful learning.

Why we fundraise

Soaring Eagle Academy serves 5-21 years old aged students, placed by public school districts when they cannot meet the complex educational needs of the student in a traditional school setting. We currently serve 75 students placed by about 40 different school districts and supported by 150 educational professionals.

The daily tuition rate is set by the Illinois State Board of Education based on SEA expenses and services provided. This tuition rate is paid by each student's public school district. Tuition payments currently represent over 97% of Soaring Eagle's $7.2 million annual budget. The 3% not covered by tuition is where our fundraising dollars go. This includes things like general operating costs, iPads, communication devices, laptops, an additional bus, playground renovations, and more. We are actively seeking potential donors and sponsors to help us meet our fundraising goal. Your donation can help us reach our goal and create a positive impact on our fundraising campaign. Your donation will allow our students to continue receiving a one-of-a-kind education that is individualized to their needs, and provided by an amazing staff in our specially designed facility.
