Union Mission will host its 9th Annual Raising Hope event on Tuesday, June 4th at the Savannah Convention Center. The event is presented by Oliver Maner LLP and Georgia Ports Authority and will be emceed by Dean Crownover with special guest emcee Tina Tyus-Shaw, Lead Anchor for WSAV News 3.

The evening will begin with a cocktail reception at 5:30pm featuring live music and travel silent auction items, followed by dinner at 7:00pm.  Union Mission also plans to honor Mr. Patrick Monahan for his tireless contributions to Union Mission and the Savannah community.

Funds raised from Raising Hope are vital to assisting those who are ready to leave homelessness behind through our Emergency Housing Programs for men, women, and children. Help us Fund the Mission now by making an online donation.

MEET OUR SPEAKER

Jason Howe

Join Union Mission for an impactful and inspiring Raising Hope event featuring former Combat Veteran of the U.S. Navy, Jason Howe.

Jason will share his personal story of defying the odds with mental illness (PTSD), trauma, anxiety, depression, and drug addiction that led to homelessness and the loss of his children. Jason is now the Executive Director for K9s on the Front Line in Missouri and Author of Unleashed: The Powerfully Simple Path to Adapt and Overcome Trauma, Addiction and the Silent Battle with Mental Illness.

He has dedicated his life to helping others providing a firsthand story of adapting to overcome battles. Jason will be joined by his Service Hero Dog, Sobee, who was also the 2021 Hero Dog Award Winner.
