About the Health Equity Project
The American Red Cross Health Equity Project aims to help bridge racial, ethnic, and minority disparities in health status and quality of life by hosting communal block parties for families in underserved neighborhoods within Greater Columbus. Each event will provide opportunities for physical and behavioral health screenings, help diversify our blood supply, and offer life saving trainings and education for children and adults.
Through this partnership of Red Cross lines of service, health care providers, places of worship, businesses, and front-line nonprofits, we are united with purpose to build a more just and inclusive society in which everyone, everywhere has the resources to achieve a more equitable future
