OUR HONOREES

Sheila Clancy

Sheila Clancy has been a Board member of the Catholic Academy
of Bridgeport since 2016 and has diligently served on all of
our special event planning committees. Other boards she sits on
include Thomas Merton Center, Wakeman Boys and Girls Club,
Woofgang and Co., Fairfield Country Day School, the Rectory
School, and Notre Dame Catholic High School, of which she is an
alumnus. Sheila grew up in Fairfield, graduated from the University
of Vermont, and received an MA in Finance from Fairfield University.
She is the retired Managing Director for Pequot Capital
Management. Sheila has two sons, Connor and Jack,
and lives in Southport.

June & Jack Heffernan

June and Jack Heffernan have supported Catholic education for
decades, and are especially interested in inner-city grammar schools
like the Catholic Academy of Bridgeport, where Jack served as a
Board member until 2021. The Heffernans believe investments in
schools like CAB provide great leverage and give children a huge
advantage in their lives going forward. While raising seven children
in Rye, NY, June was an accomplished artist, and Jack worked in the
real estate business in NY, where he owned residential and
commercial properties. Close to the Heffernan's heart are their
20 grandchildren, as well as several schools, including:
the Cornelia Connolly Center, St. Francis DeSales,
Boston College, Thomas Aquinas,
Sacred Heart Greenwich, Iona Prep, and Canterbury.
