The 1511 Society Campaign is underway!
The 1511 Society is a way for each clubwomen to support the many needs of our state headquarters.
The Sims-Stackhouse Mansion, our headquarters, still suffers from age!
This past winter we experienced major problems with the heating system which is an "old-timely" boiler/radiator system. Many hours were spent working with repairmen to determine the problems and to find ways things could be repaired or to find replacement parts. Now we must consider a new modern heating system in the near future.
As in any home there are constantly maintenance but is seems that our grand old house is really showing her age.
We have long enjoyed and very much appreciated the tremendous support of South Carolina clubs in headquarters fund raisers and projects. At this time, just $15.11 from each GFWC-SC club woman would make a BIG difference and allow much needed work to move forward.
