The Junior League of Lincoln (JLL) is a nonprofit, more than 300 women strong, committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

Since its inception 100 years ago, JLL has contributed more than $2,000,000 and 375,000 volunteer hours to the Lincoln community. We are proud to be a driving force behind many charitable projects and established nonprofits in Lincoln, including:

  • The Junior League of Lincoln Diaper Bank
  • The Lincoln Children's Zoo
  • The Lincoln Children's Museum
  • The Sheldon Art Gallery Docent Program
  • Lincoln Public Schools Clothesline Closets - 14 closets for students in need
  • Friendship Home - more than $85,000 in contributions

There are two Junior Leagues in Nebraska: Lincoln, and Omaha. More than 1,000 women in Nebraska proudly continue a rich history of volunteer service to their communities and a commitment to developing leadership and volunteer skills among its members.

JLL has 501(c)(3) status under Federal and States tax code and is a tax-exempt entity.
