You're Invited to Rolling For Meals
A Bocce Ball competition and social to raise money for the Curry Senior Center Meals Program. Would you please join us for a boxed lunch, raffle prizes, libations, and of course, bocce ball?

Here's how it works:
Tickets/Team: get a team together, buy a ticket and register your team.
Become a Champion and start a fundraising page. This option has the most significant impact when you share your page with family and friends, and you get to come to the event for free. Can't become a Champion or buy a ticket? Support older adults in need and make a donation.

The Need
Your participation will support the Curry meal's program to help fight food insecurity and hunger many San Francisco older adults face. The meals program includes the Dining Room, where older adults can receive a free nutritious meal and gather together in a communal atmosphere. As Curry Senior Center's most visited program, the Dining Room serves as a link to other services at the center, such as health care, counseling, and housing. Also being supported are Curry's Wellness programs which aim to educate older adults on nutrition and food choices as a key component of managing chronic illnesses.
Day-of Instructions and Bus Information
Event timeline:
10 am - 11 am: Breakfast, Raffle, Bocce Rules, Game Demonstration, and Registration.
11am - 1 pm: Bocce Ball Tournament
1 pm - 2 pm: Lunch and Awards Program
Awards will be handed out for the team and individual that raise the most money, respectively, along with the tournament winner and best team name.

COVID Safety
To keep everyone healthy and safe, we have a few essential pieces of information to share. The Marin Bocce Federation is a large outdoor space where the event will occur. The facility is currently open, hosting daily events and league games. We anticipate being at 12.5% capacity, giving people ample space for social distancing. All snacks and lunches will be boxed/wrapped. Stay home if you are sick or show any signs of COVID-19.

$25 - supports daily meals, curbside for take-home, or meals in the Dining Room
$50 - purchases kitchen supplies and small appliances to support healthy eating and cooking in small apartments, such as blenders, rice cookers, slow cookers, and microwaves
$100 - provides healthy eating classes taught by a Curry Senior Center Health Educator so older adults can manage their chronic illness by eating healthy
