Join us for our first ever Big Shoulders Fund 3 vs. 3 Basketball Tournament hosted by the Big Shoulders Fund Teen Board. All ages and skill levels are welcome!
In order to keep everyone safe during the event, Big Shoulders Fund will be following CDC, State and City guidelines for the event. Currently Masks are optional for the event.
The tentative event schedule is as follows:
*Final practice time and tournament schedule depends on number of participating teams
10:00 am - Check-in Begins
10:15 am - Food and Drinks will be made available
10:20 am - Practice games begin
10:45 am - Welcome and Program
11:00 am - Tournament Begins
1:30 pm - Tournament Ends
The Grand Prize winning team will win 4 tickets to the Chicago Bulls Game on Friday, April 8, as well as VIP Big Shoulders Fund Ball Tickets, and a unique Big Shoulders Fund Trophy. 2nd place will win medals and gift cards!
Guests will be able to purchase entrance into our Free Throw Contest throughout the morning as well as enjoy family friendly games inside and outside in the courtyard. Children under the age of 12 will receive free general admission.
The Big Shoulders Fund Teen Board, a Next Generation Board, is comprised of passionate, committed, altruistic, high school aged individuals looking to give back to their community. Teen Board members support the Big Shoulders Fund mission through volunteering, outreach to the community, and fundraising. Members come from various high schools around Chicago. All funds raised during the 3 vs. 3 Basketball Tournament will support the Auxiliary Board Scholarship providing tuition assistance to nearly 100 students at seven Big Shoulders Fund schools.
