THE BIG EVENT EMCEE
GREG DUTRA
Greg Dutra joined ABC 7, the number one station in Chicago, as weekend morning news meteorologist in September 2019.
According to Greg, the favorite part of his job is forecasting winter storms which also makes him a perfect fit for predicting weather in the Windy City.
Greg came to ABC 7 from KDVR-TV, the Fox affiliate in Denver, Colorado, where he was the weekday morning meteorologist. He honed his experience forecasting Midwestern weather in Davenport, Iowa, where he worked at KWQC-TV, the NBC station. Prior to that, he worked as a meteorologist at WABI-TV in Bangor, Maine.
Greg is a graduate of Lyndon State College in Vermont, where he earned a B.S. in Atmospheric Science. He holds a Seal of Approval from the National Weather Association (NWA).
