All ticket proceeds benefit Eversight's Dr. John E. Randolph Memorial Fund, established in 2007 to provide financial assistance for Central Illinois area patients unable to afford sight-restoring transplants.
The late Dr. Randolph was a Bloomington cornea surgeon and medical director of the former BroMenn-Watson Gailey Eye-Bank-one of several regional institutions that unified their operations and collectively became known as Eversight.
Eversight is the sole nonprofit eye bank serving Illinois. We work with families who give the gift of sight as cornea/eye tissue donors for transplantation and research and Central Illinois surgeons who identify patients in need of these sight saving surgeries.
In 2021, Night for Sight raised over $50,000. This helped hundreds of people in need of sight-restoring transplants receive the gift of sight from the selfless generosity of cornea tissue donors and their families.
