There are 3 ways to join in the celebration and support the AAC:

  1. Come to the in person Gala in Denver
  2. Tune in virtually via the free live stream
  3. Bid and win in the silent auction

COVID-19 Policy:

Proof of full vaccination or recent negative test will be required to attend the Gala.

  • You can show proof by providing a physical vaccine card, or by showing a clear photo of your vaccine card at event check-in. Proof of booster will be required if your vaccine was received more than 6 months prior.
  • Negative test results must have been received within 72 hours of the event.
  • We will be reducing in-person capacity at the event to encourage social distancing.
  • Masks are encouraged when not eating or drinking.
  • You will not be allowed into the event if you do not meet these requirements. Guidelines are subject to change based on current CDC guidelines and new developments.

 

Refund Policy:

We are able to offer full refunds for ticket purchases until Monday, March 14. After March 14, we are only able to offer partial refunds of the ticket price minus $100 per person.  (Example: you would receive a $75 refund for a $175 ticket). However, given the uncertain and changing nature of these times, we are able to offer a full refund at any date for those affected by COIVD-19. If you have been exposed or are feeling sick, please stay home and tune in to the live stream.

 

About the Auction:

  • If shipping, winners are asked to cover shipping fees. This allows your donation to be maximized in supporting the AAC's work.
  • The Silent Auction closes at 7pm MST on March 26th.
  • We encourage you to set a maximum bid for items. This will allow the system to bid automatically for you, up to the limit you set. Talk about easy winning!
  • The Live Auction takes place around 8pm on March 26th. To bid remotely in the Live Auction tune into the live stream (americanalpineclub.org/annual-benefit-gala) so you know when exactly to call, then call (970) 541-2422 and a staff member will act as your stand in bidder while you're on the line.
