"Spread the Love" Campaign

Bill & Kim Kerlin together with Creative York and the York community are looking to spread LOVE throughout the City of York.

The Kerlins are donating monies to fund the purchase of Dale Roger's "Love" sculpture. They are encouraging others to donate to Creative York to help further "spread love" through York. For each threshold of $5,000 received in matching monies to this campaign, Bill & Kim will provide further funding to allow for the purchase of two additional "Love" sculptures.

The "Love" sculptures will be placed outside City Hall on S. George St, along the rail trail/Codorus Creek at West Princess Street and along the rail trail immediately behind Keystone Kidspace.

Why public art? "Public art adds enormous value to the cultural, aesthetic and economic vitality of a community. Public art contributes to a community's identity, fosters community pride and a sense of belonging, and enhances the quality of life for its residents and visitors." Amherst Public Art Commission

Please join Bill & Kim and Creative York by donating $10, $100, $500 or $1,000 and help spread "Love" throughout the York Community!!

Consider Sponsoring an Art Kit

As part of our mission of arts education within the York Community, we continue to, in partnership with The York County Food Bank, the Spanish-American Multicultural Resource Center and a few local churches, distribute art kits to children.  We look forward to continuing with the distribution of art kits and can do so through your generous Sponsorship of Art Kits.  Purchase an Art Kit by clicking here Art Kits.

The arts foster creativity, goodness and beauty. Art brings us joy, helps us to connect with others, and helps us to express our values. The arts are a fundamental component of healthy communities, strengthening them socially, educationally and economically., benefits that are particularly important in difficult social and economic times.

Creative York inspires creativity in the community through arts education, gallery experiences and outreach programs. We offer programs for ages 3 to 103 at our facility and throughout York County
