JLA Festival of Trees

The Junior League of Arlington (JLA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Over the past 40+ years, the Junior League of Arlington (and first known as the Service League of Arlington) has raised more than $4 million for Tarrant County communities, placing volunteers in more than 2,500 positions totaling more than 750,000 volunteer hours.

JLA is excited to continue a new holiday tradition began last year: The JLA Festival of Trees. In the month of December, trees adorned with decorations galore will fill our Center for Community Service on Pioneer Parkway. The Center will be open daily for the public to visit and view the trees, at no cost!

Please consider participating in the JLA Festival of Trees by sponsoring and decorating a tree. There are several sizes and styles of trees from which to choose. When decorating your tree, consider a theme that highlights your business or organization or showcases something you love about the holiday season. Visitors to the Festival of Trees (both in person and online) will have the opportunity to purchase votes for their favorite decorated tree. Those trees receiving the most votes will receive a grant (if a non-profit) or will select a non-profit organization to receive a grant on their behalf (if an individual or business). 

If you are not creative or lacking the time to devote to decorating a tree, we have limited opportunities for you to purchase a JLA-decorated tree utilizing our inventory of decorations. 

When sponsoring a tree, you also have the opportunity to donate the decorations from your tree to be auctioned off as part of our fundraising efforts. All funds raised will support the Junior League of Arlington and the work we do in support of the Arlington-area community.

The deadline to reserve a tree in our Festival of Trees is November 1.
