Wreath-Making Workshop

Attend a succulent wreath-making workshop with MacKenzie Quarton at Resin Gallery in Hermosa Beach on Saturday June, 24th 2023 from 2-4pm. Choose from 3 different design types for the wreath; Circle, Heart, Square. During this hands-on class, guests will be educated and instructed on how to craft and care for their wreaths in an open-format approach. Plants, tools, moss wreath forms, and after-care sheets will be provided for each participant. The party is for 10 guests. Attend a flower arrangement lesson and consultation on July 12, 2023 from 10:30-1pm at a private home in Rolling Hills. Flowers will be provided by local florists. You can bring as much or as little inspiration as you would like! We encourage you to bring any inspiration photos you have. While it isn't necessary, having a visual is always a great idea! Champagne, wine and light snacks will be served. The party is for 10 guests. You can purchase a single ticket and meet new people or purchase all 10 tickets and bring a group of friends! Taste some wine, enjoy some decadent chocolates made by South Bay's very own Mia Kelly (Mmmm Fudge), all while shopping some local jewelers and designers newest designs. The party will be held at a private home in Rolling Hills on August 4, 2023 from 6-9pm. Enjoy the beauty of the night skyline and the San Gabriel mountains. The party is for 10 guests. Who loves a margarita? More importantly, who loves YOUR margarita?
Please join the third annual (skipped a few because of COVID) party/cocktail contest. It'll be an evening of delicious appetizers and sweets and little casual competition (is that even possible?) among friends. All in the form of a cocktail contest.
Up to 20 individuals/small teams (up to 3 people) will prepare a tequila cocktail with their favorite ingredients and give a short presentation on the contents of the drink, how it's made and anything else you'd like to share. (Non-alcoholic entries are also welcome). After all teams have presented, guests will sample the beverages and submit a vote.
Requirement-all ingredients must be homemade & with few exceptions. Hosts will make sure the competitors have all the info they need to be a master mixologist.
Tacos, chips, and guac will be served! Gift for the winner has yet to be determined!

Blind Wine Party for 20

Blind Wine Party for 20 $50 per ticket or $1000 for the entire party
Become a connoisseur of cheap wine!
Each guest will bring 2 bottles of their favorite wine, wrapped in a brown paper bag. After everyone arrives, the host will give each guest a number, which will be written on both bags. One of the bags will be put away for later. The remaining bootle will be kept in the brown bag so no one knows whose it is and places it on the table. Guests will also bring a cheese they think pairs with their wine.
LET THE TASTING BEGIN!
Guests will be provided with a scorecard that lists the wines #1-how many are to be tasted. Everyone tastes the same wine at the same time, starting with wine #1. Guests will discuss the wine and cheese pairing and make notes and eventually select their favorite. The evening will wrap up when all wines have been tried and scored. Then, the wines are removed from the paper bags and everyone will find out how their wines were scored by the group. The winner gets to take home all the second bottles that were brought by each guest, or you can open right away to keep the party going. You can keep it light and casual, or "make things interesting" with a wager. Maybe the person whose wine scores the least amount of points is obligated to host and cater the next wine/cheese party!
Party will be hosted at Resin or a mutually agreed on location by the winners. Date TBD. You can purchase a single ticket and meet new people or purchase all 20 tickets and bring a group of friends! If only 1 or 2 people purchase the entire party, the location can be flexible.
