A few words of thanks...
You can help THE FAMILY YMCA in Los Alamos, NM, make sure everyone is included.
Math riddle, "When does addition make a difference?"
When it comes to people. Despite the constraints of our times, countless studies prove that humans are hard-wired to connect. We need each other. When we are at our best, we live longer, and are happier interacting with others.
That's the principal behind the Y's Annual Campaign. We raise funds so no one is turned away for inability to pay. We want everyone to belong.
Gifts add up. Fundraising typically helps 200 kids to be in Y Afterschool, Camp, and sports programs, and 100 adults to be Y members.
Here's the difference. "The Family YMCA of Los Alamos was my savior for the year of 2020! With the assistance provided, I was able to access the gym facilities as I was recovering from a surgery. The assistance also helped me to send my child to the Y day camp, where he is having great fun, making friends and learning during these difficult times. I cannot thank the Y or the Y teachers enough! Ms. Ashley, Ms. Sarah, Ms. Alex and Mr. Bradley! Thank you!"
And thank you, too, for helping everyone to belong.
