Our top 6 teams invited to compete at Nationals at Pebble Beach in January 2022.
Golfers of all skill levels are encouraged to participate in this nationwide scramble series. Members of the top 6 finishing competitive teams will receive the opportunity to advance to the NKF Konica Minolta Golf Classic Championship at Pebble Beach Golf Links in Pebble Beach, California (registration fee is required). All qualifiers will win prizes from major sponsors. The Konica Minolta NKF Golf Classic is The Premier Amateur Golf Event for Charity? raising over $6 million annually for the programs and services of NKF.
Participants can form their own teams or be placed with other participants by the National Kidney Foundation of Arizona. Competitive teams can participate in one of two categories, Gross or Handicap Index. The Handicap Index Division allows team that have a combined USGA Handicap Index of 42.0 or more and only one player with a Handicap Index of 8.0 or less to compete. No Handicap Indexes are required for the Gross Division.
National Kidney Foundation along with Whirlwind Golf Club have an increased focus on sanitation and restrictions due to COVID-19. We, the National Kidney Foundation of Arizona, will be following state regulations and CDC guidelines that may evolve as the tournament nears.
