Honoree Connections Reception
All past Women of Distinction honorees and 2022 honorees (all categories- Leaders of Tomorrow, organization representatives for the Advancing Women Award, those awarded by pre-merger councils, etc.), are invited to the pre-event Connections Reception from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., on Friday May 6, 2022. This is a chance to meet and connect with other amazing women and members of the Northeast Ohio community.
The Connections Reception will be held in an event space, adjoining the ballroom, at the InterContinental hotel Cleveland. Light refreshments will be provided.
This special reception for honorees, is included with ticket purchase. Please indicate if you will be attending, as part of your event registration.

Complimentary Parking: Valet parking, or self parking at the Cleveland Clinic parking garage, located on the corner of Carnegie and 100th street, are complimentary for this event. Skyway connects parking garage to hotel. Parking validation tickets will be available at the check in table.
Menu: Grilled endive salad composed of cucumber carpaccio, grilled endive, roasted pineapple, watercress, and boursin dressing. Entrée choice of Provençal-herb roasted chicken, with boursin whipped potatoes, asparagus and baby carrots, and roasted chicken thyme jus (gluten free), or the vegetarian/vegan option of roasted eggplant on herbed polenta with mushroom bolognese (gluten free). Entrée selection is made at time of ticket purchase, so the chef may properly prepare for this wonderful event.

History of the Women of Distinction Awards
The annual Girl Scouts of North East Ohio (GSNEO) Women of Distinction Awards Event was established in 2012 to celebrate and recognize women in Northeast Ohio who go above and beyond to make our communities better places to live and work. GSNEO's Women of Distinction embody the core values of Girl Scouts and provide girls with positive role models.
In 2014, the Advancing Women Award was added to honor organizations demonstrating a strong commitment to advancing women in the workplace. In 2015, three annual Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarships were added to recognize GSNEO Girl Scouts who display exceptional promise to become tomorrow's leaders.
Funds raised by the Women of Distinction Awards Event, benefit the Girl Scout Leadership Experience for girls throughout the 18-county footprint, of Girl Scouts of North East Ohio (GSNEO). Your generosity makes a world of difference to the girls, supporting camperships, travel scholarships, programming, and more.
