BFA Alfred University, MFA The Ohio State University, Graduate Fellowship Krista Grecco is a ceramic sculptor and Professor of Foundation Studies at SCAD in Atlanta, Georgia. Her work explores ideas of companionship and the seduction of nostalgia fueled by family, friendship, heartache, and humiliation. In 2015, Grecco was invited to participate in the Parcours Céramique Carougeois biennial in Geneva, Switzerland. She was awarded a solo exhibition at Galerie Maya Guidi and conducted demonstrations at Bruckner Foundation for the Advancement of Ceramics. Examples of Grecco's work have also been featured in 500 Figures in Clay: Ceramic Artists Celebrate the Human Form, published by Lark Books as well as American Craft, New Ceramics, and Ceramics Monthly magazines. She exhibits regularly in the U.S. and Europe, with work included in numerous public and private collections in the U.S. and Europe.
