It is composed of a curry pea soup with crispy potato patties that are garnished with onion, tomato and chickpea flour and served with tamarind and green chutney.

Sajjan and Rutu Chaudhari - mother and daughter - will teach you how to prepare Ragda Patties in your home. Everything needed to make the meal will be provided. About Sajjan and Rutu:

Sajjan Chaudhari's training comes from generations of Rajput cooks as well as the cultural learnings that happen with life transitions - from her family home, to eloping, to traversing different cities in Gujarat, to immigrating to the US, to moving from the north to the south? these diverse experiences have shaped and steered her palette.

Rutu Chaudhari has learned to cook with her mother starting at a young age and together they enjoy sharing traditional Gujarati Indian cooking with others. Rutu is also a Hambidge Fellow and Board member.
